Tegger
First Adopted by Jeanette and David Reynolds, he became the inspiration for the non-profit charity group Greyhound Pets Of Atlantic Canada Society. Tegger promoted on the Halifax water front more times than you can count, over the years he walked in many parades and inspired countless numbers of retired racing Greyhounds to find loving homes in Atlantic Canada just as he did. Tegger lived to be 14 years old and he holds a very special place in the hearts of so many. He is greatly missed and I can tell you from spending a lot of time with Tegger especially in his senior years, he was truly amazing, taking everything in stride, from new greyhounds coming into his home, even the Jack Russell Peekie who he let constantly lick his mouth without question...to the many visitors going through their adoption process in his home, but what most impressed me about Teggar was his love of life and his will to live a long one, despite aging health issues Teggar approached each day with a good attitude, enjoyed his little walks and tackled the stairs with such determination !!!! Rest in Peace buddy...we love you.
